Local Membership
The dues for local AIChE membership is $10 per semester. This should not be mistaken for national dues, which is a separate entity. Membership in the local AIChE chapter comes with the following benefits:
Local Membership Card
Free admittance to guest speaker events
Free admittance to certain social events
Free admittance to plant tours (there may be transportation fees)
The local professional chapter of AIChE plans their meetings at a local restaraunt. Speakers are scheduled at each meeting. These meetings are an excellent opportunity for Florida Tech students to meet with local professionals and network. Students cannot belong to the professional chapter and no meals are paid for with the exception of the picnic at the beginning of the school year.
